Learning Analysis
The learning analysis and instructional strategy are generally delivered to the customer as one report. Please keep in mind that I have created learning analysis reports comprised of several hundred pages for very large customers. However, those reports are proprietary to the company for which I prepared them and cannot be shown here. The samples shown are very small and were prepared to satisfy certain requirements in my program at George Washington University.

The resulting plan is a road map to the development of the training.
Learning analysis and instructional strategy require:
- Review of customer furnished information and source materials
- Description of the target audience
- Understanding of the context in which the work will be performed
- Identification of the context in which training will be conducted
- Identification of the skills and knowledge to be included in the instruction
- Classification of instructional goals into learning domains (i.e., cognitive)
- Determination of learning objectives
- Identification of learning units to properly sequence the instruction
- Determination of training methods, such as web-based, classroom, or integration of flipped classroom for portions of the training conducted in person
The resulting plan is a road map to the development of the training.
