Classroom Technology
Automated response technology (also referred to as a clickers in the classroom) enables students to participate in group-wide assessments and quizzes within the classroom setting. Instructors capture real-time data from the class as a whole and from each individual student, if needed. Reports can be printed and reviewed by the instructor who can then provide individualized remediation to each student prior to formal testing.
The image gallery presented below demonstrates the instructor view of the slides. Clicker technology slides are those that depict a bar graph. These are the questions students will answer using a response device (clicker). After the instructor closes polling for a question, the bar graph depicts actual results of the percentage of students who selected each answer choice.
This sample represents questions in a capstone activity at the end of each of a module. The data collected from the student responses indicates each student's readiness for the module posttest. A sample of five questions is presented.
